Scott & Micaela Parrish
What began as a short break from the studio in 2015 for graduations of high school & military services turned into a life change and extended hiatus from art. During this time, a professional career in world archery emerged bringing a dynamic chapter full of life challenges, world records and exciting times!
Mikey Parrish, formally known as Mikey McGhee was born and raised in Alaska before relocating to the midwest to raise her children in a wholesome environment. During this time her willingness to push boundaries while maintaining structure and discipline in art quickly earned international recognition. Ultimately, her pieces changed the parameter’s of possibility. Mikey traveled extensively to galas, taught clinics at universities and gave private lessons, along with attending several solo shows and exhibitions.
A new life has emerged to include managing a gentleman's farm and continued success in archery. With her children grown, this return to the studio carries the imprint of lived experiences and a deepened perspective of shaping work that bridges past foundations with present identity.
Each piece explores balance, precision, and quiet tension-echoing discipline, rhythm, and the calmness of Mikey and Scott’s lifestyle.
